FAQs

This verse states that Nanda’s son (Kṛṣṇa) is equal to Nārāyaṇa in qualities, opulence, fame, and divine potency—therefore His extraordinary deeds should not be considered surprising.

In the narrative context of Canto 10, Śukadeva explains that Kṛṣṇa’s miracles are natural for the Supreme Lord; since He is Nārāyaṇa-like in all divine attributes, wondrous acts are expected of Him.

By remembering that the Lord’s power is unlimited, a devotee cultivates faith and steadiness—seeing life’s reversals and blessings through devotion rather than doubt or mere amazement at external events.
