आसां प्राणपरीप्सूनां विधेयमभयं हि मे । एतावान्हि प्रभोरर्थो यद् दीनपरिपालनम् ॥ ३८ ॥

Transliteration

āsāṁ prāṇa-parīpsūnāṁ vidheyam abhayaṁ hi me etāvān hi prabhor artho yad dīna-paripālanam

Translation

జీవించేందుకు పోరాడుతున్న ఈ సమస్త ప్రాణులకు అభయం కల్పించడం నా కర్తవ్యం. నిజంగా ప్రభువు యొక్క పరమార్థం ఇదే—దీనులైన ఆశ్రితులను పరిరక్షించడం.
