इत्थं स निश्चित्य पितामहो महा- नगाधबोधो भवत: पादपद्मम् । ध्रुवं प्रपेदे ह्यकुतोभयं जनाद् भीत: स्वपक्षक्षपणस्य सत्तम ॥ १० ॥
itthaṁ sa niścitya pitāmaho mahān agādha-bodho bhavataḥ pāda-padmam dhruvaṁ prapede hy akutobhayaṁ janād bhītaḥ svapakṣa-kṣapaṇasya sattama
ఇలా నిశ్చయించుకొని, అగాధ జ్ఞానమున్న నా పితామహుడు—మహాపురుషుడు—నిశ్చయంగా మీ పాదపద్మాలను ఆశ్రయించాడు. హే సత్తమా! ఈ లోకంలోని సాధారణ జనులనుండికూడా అతడు భయపడెను, ఎందుకంటే మీ చేత తన పక్షమే నశించినదాన్ని చూశాడు; అందుకే అకుతోభయమైన మీ పాదాలనే శరణు పొందాడు।
