Prelude to Vāmana

श्रीशुक उवाच एतावदुक्त्वा भगवांस्तत्रैवान्तरधीयत । अदितिर्दुर्लभं लब्ध्वा हरेर्जन्मात्मनि प्रभो: । उपाधावत् पतिं भक्त्या परया कृतकृत्यवत् ॥ २१ ॥

శ్రీశుకదేవ గోస్వామి చెప్పెను—ఇలా చెప్పి భగవంతుడు అక్కడినుంచే అంతర్ధానమయ్యాడు. హరి తన కుమారుడిగా తన గర్భంలో జన్మిస్తాడనే అత్యంత దుర్లభ వరం పొందిన అదితి తనను కృతకృత్యురాలిగా భావించి, పరమ భక్తితో భర్త వద్దకు వెళ్లింది.
