Lord Śiva Bewildered by Mohinī
Viṣṇu’s Yoga-māyā and the Limits of Ascetic Power
येन सम्मोहिता दैत्या: पायिताश्चामृतं सुरा: । तद् दिदृक्षव आयाता: परं कौतूहलं हि न: ॥ १३ ॥
yena sammohitā daityāḥ pāyitāś cāmṛtaṁ surāḥ tad didṛkṣava āyātāḥ paraṁ kautūhalaṁ hi naḥ
హే ప్రభూ, నీవు దైత్యులను పూర్తిగా మోహింపజేసి, దేవతలకు అమృతం త్రాగింపజేసిన ఆ రూపాన్ని చూడాలనే కోరికతో మేము ఇక్కడికి వచ్చాము. మాకు పరమ కౌతూహలం ఉంది; ఆ రూపాన్ని దర్శించేందుకు నేను ఎంతో ఉత్సుకుడను।

This verse recalls that Mohinī-mūrti (Viṣṇu) bewildered the Daityas and ensured the Devas drank the nectar, and it introduces the Devas’ intense desire to see that divine līlā again.
Because Viṣṇu’s Mohinī form had previously achieved the impossible—deceiving the Daityas and giving amṛta to the Devas—so they came with great curiosity to behold that same wondrous form and act.
Approach God with sincere longing to understand His līlā and purpose; the verse models humble inquiry and faith that divine intelligence can resolve conflicts beyond ordinary strategy.
