शिवपूजाकथनम् (Śiva-pūjā-kathana) — The Exposition of Śiva Worship
మునుపటి సూర్యపూజా భాగం ముగిసిన తరువాత ఈ అధ్యాయం ఈశ్వరుడు ఉపదేశించిన శివపూజను క్రమబద్ధమైన విధిగా వివరిస్తుంది. ఆచమనం, ప్రణవసంస్కృత అర్ఘ్యం, అస్త్రాంబుతో ద్వారప్రోక్షణం, ప్రవేశరక్షకులు మరియు సహదేవతల పూజ (గణ, సరస్వతి, లక్ష్మి; నంది, గంగా; మహాకాల, యమునా) చెప్పబడుతుంది. సాధకుడు మడమల దెబ్బలు మొదలైన శరీరక్రియలతో, కుడిపాదంతో ప్రవేశించి, ఎడమ ద్వారస్తంభాన్ని ఆశ్రయించి లోపలికి వెళ్తాడు; ఉదుంబరస్తంభంపై అస్త్రరక్షను స్థాపించి మధ్యలో వాస్త్వధిపతి బ్రహ్మను పూజిస్తాడు. తరువాత కలశాది సామగ్రి ఏర్పాటు, భూతశుద్ధి, ప్రాణాయామం, గ్రంథిభేదం, ద్వాదశాంతం, బిందుధ్యానం; మండలభావన మరియు బీజమంత్రాలతో పంచతత్త్వాల (పృథివి-జలం-అగ్ని-వాయు-ఆకాశం) శుద్ధి చేసి హృదయపీಠాన్ని స్థాపిస్తారు. సకలీకరణ, అస్త్రపరిధి, శక్తిజాలం, మహాముద్ర తరువాత హృదయకమలంలో శివుని అంతఃపూజ, అర్ఘ్యోపకరణ సిద్ధం, లింగశుద్ధి జరుగుతుంది. పంచవక్త్ర దశభుజ శివధ్యానం, మూల/శిరః/శిఖా/కవచ/అస్త్ర న్యాసాలు, ఉపచారక్రమం మరియు వరుస ద్రవ్యాలతో అభిషేకం; చివర ఆరతి, భోగపూజ, జపాహుతి, స్తోత్రపఠనం, ప్రదక్షిణ, అష్టమూర్తి శివునికి అష్టాంగ నమస్కారం, అలాగే అగ్ని మొదలైన రూపాలలో ధ్యానంతో నిరంతర పూజను సూచిస్తుంది।
