Chapter 213 — पृथ्वीदानानि (Gifts of the Earth)
భగవాన్ అగ్ని పృథ్వీదానాన్ని క్రమబద్ధంగా వివరిస్తూ, దానాన్ని సృష్టి-అనుకరణగా మరియు యాగకర్మలో ప్రభావవంతమైన విధానంగా ప్రతిపాదిస్తాడు. భూమి ప్రమాణాలను జంబూద్వీపం వరకు వర్గీకరించి, నిర్దిష్ట స్వర్ణభారాలు మొదలైన కొలతలతో ఆదర్శ ‘భూమి-మోడల్’ నిర్మాణాన్ని చెప్పి, కూర్మం మరియు పద్మ-రచనల ద్వారా జగదాధారం, మంగళ వికాసం సూచిస్తాడు. అనంతరం ఫలశ్రుతి—దాత బ్రహ్మలోకాన్ని పొందీ పితృలతో ఆనందిస్తాడు; విష్ణు-కేంద్రిత దానానికి కామధేనువు ఫలంగా ప్రశంస. గోదానాన్ని సర్వదానంగా ఉద్ధరిస్తూ, విష్ణువు సమక్షంలో కపిలా గోవు దానం వంశోద్ధారకమని, అలంకృత స్త్రీదానం అశ్వమేధసమ పుణ్యమని, సస్యశ్యామల భూమి, గ్రామం, నగరం లేదా హాట-పట్టణ దానం సమృద్ధి-సుఖాలను ఇస్తుందని చెబుతుంది. చివరగా కార్త్తిక మాసంలో వృషోత్సర్గం (ఎద్దు విడిచివేత) వంశవిమోచక కర్మగా చెప్పి అధ్యాయం ముగుస్తుంది.
