यद्भूभ्यां न्यपतद् विप्र स्वेदबिन्दुः शिवाननात् तस्मादङ्गरपुञ्जाभो बालकः समजायत

Transliteration

yadbhūbhyāṃ nyapatad vipra svedabinduḥ śivānanāt tasmādaṅgarapuñjābho bālakaḥ samajāyata

Translation

ஓ விப்ரரே! சிவனின் முகத்திலிருந்து வியர்வையின் ஒரு துளி நிலத்தில் விழுந்தபோது, அதிலிருந்து எரிகின்ற அங்காரக் குவியலைப் போன்ற ஒரு குழந்தை தோன்றியது।
