विश्वामित्र उवाच । तच्छ्रुत्वा सुचिरं ध्यात्वा गौतमः प्राह तं सुतम् । परिष्वज्य स्वबाहुभ्यां मूर्ध्न्याघ्राय ततः परम्

விசுவாமித்ரர் கூறினார்—அதை கேட்டுப் பல நேரம் தியானித்த பின், கௌதமர் தம் மகனிடம் பேசினார். தம் கரங்களால் அணைத்து, அவன் தலையை அன்புடன் முத்தமிட்டு/முகர்ந்து, பின்னர் மேலும் உரைத்தார்।
