आह्वयामास वह्निं च प्रत्यक्षो भव देव मे । एवं मन्त्रेण कृत्वा तं संमुखं ज्वलनं ततः
āhvayāmāsa vahniṃ ca pratyakṣo bhava deva me | evaṃ mantreṇa kṛtvā taṃ saṃmukhaṃ jvalanaṃ tataḥ
அவர் அக்னியை அழைத்தார்—“என் தேவனே, என் முன் நேரடியாக வெளிப்படு.” இம்மந்திரத்தால் ஜ்வலிக்கும் அக்னி அவர் முன்னே பிரத்யட்சமாகத் தோன்றியது.
