tatsamīpamupavrajya yathāvidhi vicakṣaṇaḥ | dīrghadaṇḍapraṇāmādyaistoṣayedyatnatassudhīḥ

Translation

அவரின் அருகே சென்று, விவேகமுள்ள ஞானி சாதகன் விதிப்படி தண்டவத் (நீண்ட தண்டம் போன்ற) प्रणாமம் முதலியவற்றால் முயற்சியுடன் குருவை மகிழ்விக்க வேண்டும்।
