उपदेशक्रमो ह्यादौ वक्तव्यश्श्रूयतामयम् । चातुर्व्वर्ण्यं हि लोकेस्मिन्प्रसिद्धम्मानुषे मुने
upadeśakramo hyādau vaktavyaśśrūyatāmayam | cāturvvarṇyaṃ hi lokesminprasiddhammānuṣe mune
முதலில் உபதேசத்தின் முறையான வரிசை கூறப்பட வேண்டும்—இதை இப்போது கேள். முனிவரே, இந்த மனித உலகில் சாத்துர்வர்ண்யம் (நான்கு வர்ண ஒழுங்கு) நன்கு நிலைபெற்றுள்ளது.
