सोऽयमर्थंपरित्यज्यसुखकामःसुखैधितः ।पापमारभतेकर्तुंतदादोषःप्रवर्तते ।।6.83.34।।

so 'yam arthaṃ parityajya sukhakāmaḥ sukhaidhitaḥ |

pāpam ārabhate kartuṃ tadā doṣaḥ pravartate ||6.83.34||

இன்பத்தில் பழகியவனாய் இருந்தும் இன்பத்தை நாடி செல்வத்தைத் துறந்தவன் பாவச் செயலில் இறங்குகிறான்; அப்போது குற்றமும் வீழ்ச்சியும் தொடங்கும்.
