The Slaying of Atikāya
आग्नेयेनतदाऽस्त्रेणयोजयामाससायकम् ।।।।स जज्वालतदाबाणोधनुष्यस्यमहात्मनः ।
āgneyena tadāstreṇa yojayāmāsa sāyakam | sa jajvāla tadā bāṇo dhanuṣyasya mahātmanaḥ ||
அப்போது அவன் ஆக்னேயாஸ்திரத்தை ஆவாஹனம் செய்து அம்பை யோஜித்தான்; மகாத்மாவின் வில்லில் இருந்த அந்த அம்பு உடனே தீப்பற்றி எரிந்தது.
Then Lakshmana by concentration of his mind fixed on fire god which presided over the arrow, that great self-fixed in his bow glowed.
