The Slaying of Atikāya
तंलक्ष्मणोत्सृष्टममोघवेगंसमापतन्तंज्यलनप्रकाशम् ।सुपर्णवज्रोत्तमचित्रपुङ्खंतदाऽतिकायस्समरेददर्श ।।।।
taṁ lakṣmaṇotsṛṣṭam amoghavegaṁ samāpatantaṁ jvalanaprakāśam |
suparṇavajrōttamacitrapuṅkhaṁ tadā ’tikāyaḥ samare dadarśa ||
அப்போது போர்க்களத்தில் அதிகாயன், லக்ஷ்மணன் விடுத்த அந்த அம்பை கண்டான்—தவறாத வேகத்துடன் நேராகப் பாய்ந்து வந்தது, தீப்போல் ஜ்வலித்தது, கருடப் பக்கங்களைப் போன்ற சிறந்த வண்ணமயமான இறகுகளால் அலங்கரிக்கப்பட்டது।
