कुम्भकर्णवधश्रवणेन रावणविलापः
Ravana’s Lament on Hearing of Kumbhakarna’s Slaying
ध्रुवमद्यैवसंहृष्टालब्धलक्षाःप्लवङ्गमाः ।आरोक्ष्यन्तीहदुर्गाणिलङ्काद्वाराणिसर्वशः ।।।।
dhruvam adyaiva saṃhṛṣṭā labdhalakṣāḥ plavaṅgamāḥ |
ārokṣyantīha durgāṇi laṅkādvārāṇi sarvaśaḥ ||
நிச்சயமாக இன்றே, வாய்ப்பு கிடைத்து மகிழ்ந்த வானரர்கள் எல்லாத் திசைகளிலிருந்தும் லங்கையின் கோட்டைகளிலும் வாயில்களிலும் ஏறி நிறைந்துவிடுவர்।
"I have no purpose with the kingdom. What will I do with Sita? I have lost my life and mind with Kumbhakarna's death."
