Svayamprabha’s Dialogue with the Vanaras
अगस्त्यचरितामाशां दक्षिणां यमरक्षिताम्।सहैभिर्वानरैर्घोरैरङ्गदप्रमुखैर्वयम्।।।।रावणं सहितास्सर्वे राक्षसं कामरूपिणम्।सीतया सह वैदेह्या मार्गध्वमिति चोदिताः।।।।
agastyacaritām āśāṃ dakṣiṇāṃ yamarakṣitām | sahaibhir vānarair ghorair aṅgadapramukhair vayam || rāvaṇaṃ sahitāḥ sarve rākṣasaṃ kāmarūpiṇam | sītayā saha vaidehyā mārgadhvam iti coditāḥ ||
அகஸ்திய முனிவர் நடந்தாடியதும் யமன் காக்கும் தென் திசை நோக்கி, அங்கதன் தலைமையிலான இக்கடுமையான வானரர்களுடன் நாங்கள் அனுப்பப்பட்டோம். ‘வைதேஹி சீதையைத் தேடுங்கள்; உருவம் மாறும் ராக்ஷசன் ராவணனையும் கண்டறியுங்கள்’ என்று ஆணையிடப்பட்டோம்.
