Rama–Sugriva Alliance and Fire-Rite of Friendship
लक्ष्मणायाथ संहृष्टो हनूमान् प्लवगर्षभः4.5.20।।शाखां चन्दनवृक्षस्य ददौ परमपुष्पिताम्।
lakṣmaṇāyātha saṅhṛṣṭo hanūmān plavagarṣabhaḥ | śākhāṃ candanavṛkṣasya dadau paramapuṣpitām ||4.5.20||
அப்போது உள்ளம் மகிழ்ந்த வானரசிறந்த ஹனுமான், லக்ஷ்மணனுக்கு சந்தனமரத்தின் மிகுந்த மலர்ச்சியுடைய கிளையை அளித்தான்.
