तत्रासुरा महाकायाश्छायां गृह्णन्ति नित्यशः।ब्रह्मणा समनुज्ञाता दीर्घकालं बुभुक्षिताः।।4.40.36।।

Transliteration

tatrāsurā mahākāyāś chāyāṃ gṛhṇanti nityaśaḥ | brahmaṇā samanujñātā dīrghakālaṃ bubhukṣitāḥ || 4.40.36 ||

Translation

அங்கே பெருந்தேகமுடைய அசுரர்கள் எப்போதும் (பயணிகளின்) நிழலைப் பற்றிக் கொள்கிறார்கள்; நீண்டகாலப் பசியால் வாடிய அவர்களுக்கு பிரம்மா அனுமதி அளித்துள்ளார்।
