तारोपदेशः — Tara’s Counsel to Lakshmana
Restraint, Time, and Mobilization
देहधर्मं गतस्यास्य परिश्रान्तस्य लक्ष्मण।अवितृप्तस्य कामेषु कामं क्षन्तुमिहार्हसि।।।।
deha-dharmaṃ gatasya asya pariśrāntasya lakṣmaṇa | avitṛptasya kāmeṣu kāmaṃ kṣantum ihārhasi ||
லக்ஷ்மணா! அவன் உடலியல்பின் வசப்பட்டு சோர்ந்தவன்; இன்பங்களில் இன்னும் திருப்தியடையாதவன்; ஆகவே இப்போது அவனுடைய இந்த ஆசையை நீ பொறுத்தருள்வதே உரியது.
'O Lakshmana! you should pardon him since he is not yet satisfied, though tired, with the struggle for the fulfilment of his sensual pleasures.
