मासि प्रोष्ठपदे ब्रह्म ब्राह्मणानां विवक्षताम्।अयमध्यायसमयस्सामगानामुपस्थितः।।

Transliteration

māsi proṣṭhapade brahma brāhmaṇānāṃ vivakṣatām | ayam adhyāya-samayaḥ sāmagānām upasthitaḥ ||

Translation

ஹே பிரஹ்மன்! புரோஷ்டபத மாதத்தில் வேதம் ஓத விரும்பும் பிராமணர்களுக்கான காலம் வந்துள்ளது; சாமவேதப் பாடகர்களின் অধ্যயனத்திற்கும் இப்போது உரிய நேரம் அணைந்துள்ளது॥
