Sugriva’s Remorse and Tara’s Lament after Vali’s Death
तस्येन्द्रकल्पस्य दुरासदस्यमहानुभावस्य समीपमार्या।आर्ताऽतितूर्णं व्यसनाभिपन्नाजगाम तारा परिविह्वलन्ती।।
tasyendrakalpasya durāsadasya mahānubhāvasya samīpam āryā |
ārtā ’titūrṇaṁ vyasanābhipannā jagāma tārā parivihvalantī ||
துயரால் தாக்கப்பட்டு மிகுந்த வேதனையுடன் நடுங்கி நிலைதளர்ந்த உயர்குலத் தாரை, அணுக இயலாதவனும் இந்திரனைப் போன்றவனுமான மகாத்மா ஸ்ரீராமனின் அருகே விரைந்து சென்றாள்.
The noble Tara, desperate, agonised, totally shaken up quickly went near the magnanimous Rama, who was like Indra-unapproachable.
