Transliteration

tato 'vardhata vālī tu balavīryasamanvitaḥ |

sūryaputro mahāvīryaḥ sugrīvaḥ parihīyate || 4.16.26 ||

Translation

அப்போது வலமும் வீரியமும் உடைய வாலி மேலும் மேலும் மேலோங்கினான். சூரியபுத்திரனான மகாவீரன் சுக்ரீவன் மெல்ல மெல்ல தளர்ந்து போகத் தொடங்கினான்॥
