सुग्रीवस्य वैरानुकथनम्
Sugriva’s Account of Enmity and Appeal to Rama
स्थितोऽयमिति मत्वा तु प्रविष्टोऽहं दुरासदम्।तं च मे मार्गमाणस्य गतस्संवत्सरस्तदा।।
sthito ’yam iti matvā tu praviṣṭo ’haṃ durāsadam | taṃ ca me mārgamāṇasya gataḥ saṃvatsaras tadā ||
‘அவன் அங்கேயே காத்திருக்கிறான்’ என்று எண்ணி, நான் அந்த அணுக இயலாத இடத்திற்குள் புகுந்தேன். உள்ளே அவனைத் தேடிக்கொண்டிருந்தபோது எனக்கு ஒரு முழு ஆண்டு கடந்தது॥
