सुग्रीवस्य वैरानुकथनम्
Sugriva’s Account of Enmity and Appeal to Rama
स्निग्धमेवं ब्रुवाणं मां स तु निर्भर्त्स्य वानरः।।धिक्त्वामिति च मा मुक्त्वा बहु तत्तदुवाच ह।
snigdham evaṃ bruvāṇaṃ māṃ sa tu nirbhartsya vānaraḥ | dhik tvām iti ca mā muktvā bahu tattad uvāca ha ||
நான் அவனிடம் அன்புடன் இப்படிப் பேசினாலும், அந்த வானரன் என்னை கடிந்து கொண்டான். ‘திக் உனக்கு’ என்று சொல்லி என்னை விடாமல், பலவிதக் குற்றச்சாட்டுகளைச் சுமத்தினான்.
