दशाभागगतो हीनस्त्वं हि राम सलक्ष्मणः।यत्कृते व्यसनं प्राप्तं त्वया दारप्रधर्षणम्।।।।।

Transliteration

daśābhāgagato hīnas tvaṃ hi rāma salakṣmaṇaḥ |

yatkṛte vyasanaṃ prāptaṃ tvayā dārapradharṣaṇam |||

Translation

ராமா, லக்ஷ்மணனுடன் நீ துர்பாக்கியத்தின் ‘தசபாகம்’ எனும் எதிர்மறைப் பங்கில் விழுந்து தாழ்ந்த நிலைக்குத் தள்ளப்பட்டாய். அதனால் உனக்கு இந்தத் துன்பம் ஏற்பட்டது— மனைவியின் அபகரிப்பு எனும் தாம்பத்திய அவமதிப்பு.
