सुतीक्ष्णाश्रमप्रवेशः
Entry into Sutikshna’s Hermitage
प्रविष्टस्तु वनं घोरं बहुपुष्पफलद्रुमम्।ददर्शाश्रममेकान्ते चीरमालापरिष्कृतम्।।3.7.4।।
praviṣṭas tu vanaṃ ghoraṃ bahupuṣpaphaladrumam |
dadarśāśramam ekānte cīramālā-pariṣkṛtam || 3.7.4 ||
அந்த அச்சமூட்டும் காட்டில் நுழைந்து—பல மலர், பலன் தரும் மரங்கள் நிறைந்த இடத்தில்—அவர்கள் தனிமையான ஓரிடத்தில் பட்டைத் துணி மாலைகளால் அலங்கரிக்கப்பட்ட ஒரு ஆசிரமத்தைக் கண்டனர்.
What can be more agonizing for you (than my killing animals). I (therefore) do not foresee our long stay in this hermitage.
