Jatayu’s Combat with Ravana
बद्धस्त्वं कालपाशेन क्व गतस्तस्य मोक्ष्यसे।।।।वधाय बडिशं गृह्य सामिषं जलजो यथा।
baddhas tvaṃ kāla-pāśena kva gatas tasya mokṣyase | vadhāya baḍiśaṃ gṛhya sāmiṣaṃ jalajo yathā ||
நீ காலபாசத்தால் கட்டப்பட்டவன்; எங்கே சென்றாலும் அதிலிருந்து எவ்வாறு விடுபடுவாய்? இரையுடன் கூடிய கொக்கியைப் பிடித்து மீன் கொலைக்குச் சிக்குவது போல, நீயும் உன் அழிவுக்கான காரணத்தையே பற்றிக் கொண்டாய்।
