नृशंस नीच क्षुद्रात्मन्नित्यं ब्राह्मणकण्टक।यत्कृते शङ्कितैरग्नौ मुनिभिः पात्यते हविः।।।।
nṛśaṃsa nīca kṣudrātman nityaṃ brāhmaṇakaṇṭaka | yatkṛte śaṅkitair agnau munibhiḥ pātyate haviḥ || 3.30.12 ||
அரக்கனே, கொடியவனே, தாழ்ந்தவனே, சிறுமனத்தவனே, பிராமணர்க்கு நித்திய முள்ளே! உன்னாலேயே முனிவர்கள் அஞ்சித் திடுக்கிட்டு, அச்சத்துடன் அக்னியில் ஹவிசைச் செலுத்துகின்றனர்।
