खरसेनासङ्ग्रामः
The Battle with Khara’s Host at the Hermitage
ततो रामस्सुसङ्कृद्धो मण्डलीकृतकार्मुकः।ससर्ज विशिखान्बाणाञ्छतशोऽथ सहस्रश।।।।
tato rāmaḥ susaṅkruddho maṇḍalīkṛtakārmukaḥ |
sasarja viśikhān bāṇān śataśo 'tha sahasraśaḥ ||
பின்னர் கடும் கோபமுற்ற ஸ்ரீராமர் வில்லைக் முழு வளைவாக இழுத்து, இறகில்லா அம்புகளை நூற்றுக்கணக்காகவும், பின்னர் ஆயிரக்கணக்காகவும் எய்தார்॥
Thereafter Rama, mighty angry, bent his bow and released hundreds and thousands of unfeathered arrows.
