उत्पातदर्शनं खरसैन्यसमागमश्च
Omens of calamity and the approach of Khara’s army
तानुत्पातान्महोघोरानुत्थितान्रोमहर्षणान्।प्रजानामहितान्दृष्ट्वा रामो लक्ष्मणमब्रवीत्।।।।
tān utpātān mahā-ghorān utthitān roma-harṣaṇān | prajānām ahitān dṛṣṭvā rāmo lakṣmaṇam abravīt ||
அந்த மிகக் கொடிய, ரோமஞ்சம் எழுப்பும், உயிர்களுக்குத் தீங்கான அபசகுனங்கள் எழுந்ததைப் பார்த்து, ஸ்ரீராமன் லக்ஷ்மணனிடம் கூறினான்।
