अगस्त्याश्रमप्रवेशः तथा दिव्यायुधप्रदानम्
Entry into Agastya’s Hermitage and the Gift of Divine Weapons
तस्य तद् वचनं श्रुत्वा लक्ष्मणस्य तपोधनः।तथेत्युक्त्वाऽग्निशरणं प्रविवेश निवेदितुम्।।।।
tasya tad-vacanaṃ śrutvā lakṣmaṇasya tapodhanaḥ | tathety uktvā agniśaraṇaṃ praviveśa niveditum ||
லக்ஷ்மணனின் அந்தச் சொற்களை கேட்ட தவோதன முனிவர் ‘அப்படியே’ என்று கூறி, அறிவிக்கும்பொருட்டு அக்னிசரணத்தில் நுழைந்தார்.
The ascetic heard Lakshmana, and saying, 'let it be so', entered the fire-sanctuary to report.
