Suta (narrating the Narada Purana dialogue/tradition)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It preserves a sacred fourfold nomenclature—Ramā, Vāruṇī, Kāmodā, and Varā—used to remember and invoke distinct auspicious aspects of the divine feminine within a tirtha/mahatmya setting.
Bhakti here is expressed through nāma-smaraṇa (remembrance of divine names): listing and recalling these names is itself a devotional act that focuses the mind on auspicious divine qualities.
Nirukta-style name-knowledge is implicit: the verse functions as a precise mnemonic list of proper names (saṃjñā), supporting correct recitation and ritual usage (prayoga) in a mahatmya context.
