आद्यो गदाधरो देवो व्यक्ताव्यक्तार्थमास्थितः । विष्ण्वादिपदरूपेण पितॄणां मुक्तिहेतवे ॥ १८ ॥
ādyo gadādharo devo vyaktāvyaktārthamāsthitaḥ | viṣṇvādipadarūpeṇa pitṝṇāṃ muktihetave || 18 ||
ஆதியான கதாகரன் தேவன் வெளிப்பட்டதும் வெளிப்படாததும் ஆகிய இரண்டின் பொருளாக நிலைகொள்கிறான்; ‘விஷ்ணு’ முதலிய புனித நாம-பதங்களின் ரூபம் கொண்டு பித்ருக்களின் முக்திக்குக் காரணமாகிறான்।
