Gayā-Māhātmya
यजेत वाश्वमेधेन नीलं वा वृषमुत्सृजेत् । सारात्सारतरं देवि गयामाहात्म्यमुत्तमम् ॥ ६ ॥
yajeta vāśvamedhena nīlaṃ vā vṛṣamutsṛjet | sārātsārataraṃ devi gayāmāhātmyamuttamam || 6 ||
அச்வமேத யாகம் செய்யலாம் அல்லது நீல நிற வृषபத்தை உத்தர்கமாக விடலாம்; ஆயினும், தேவி, கயா-மாஹாத்மியம் உத்தமம்—எல்லாப் புண்ணியங்களின் சாரத்திற்கும் மேலான சாரம்।
