The Description of the Greatness of the Gaṅgā
गंडूषमात्रपाने तु अश्वमेधफलं लभेत् । स्वच्छंदं यः पिबेदंभस्तस्य मुक्तिः करे स्थिता ॥ ५८ ॥
gaṃḍūṣamātrapāne tu aśvamedhaphalaṃ labhet | svacchaṃdaṃ yaḥ pibedaṃbhastasya muktiḥ kare sthitā || 58 ||
ஒரு வாய்க் குளுக்கல் (கண்டூஷ) அளவு பருகினாலே அச்வமேத யாகத்தின் பலன் கிடைக்கும்; பக்தியுடன் மனமுவந்து பருகுபவனுக்கு முக்தி கையிலே இருப்பதுபோல் அமையும்।
