संनिरस्य दुराचारा वरयोग्या कथं भवेत् । योऽस्याः पक्षेतु वर्तेत देवो वा दानवोऽपि वा ॥ ८१ ॥
saṃnirasya durācārā varayogyā kathaṃ bhavet | yo'syāḥ pakṣetu varteta devo vā dānavo'pi vā || 81 ||
அவள் துராசாரத்தை விட்டு விட்டாலும், அவள் எவ்வாறு வரன் தேர்வுக்குத் தகுதியானவள் ஆக முடியும்? அவள் பக்கம் நிற்பவன்—தேவனாக இருந்தாலும் தானவனாக இருந்தாலும்—அநியாயத்தையே ஆதரிக்கிறான்।
