Saṃdhyāvalī-ākhyāna
Mohinī-parīkṣā; Dvādaśī-vrata-mahattva
इहार्थं श्रूयते भद्रे इतिहासः पुरातनः । कथयिष्यामि ते भद्रे सावधाना श्रुणुष्व मे ॥ १६ ॥
ihārthaṃ śrūyate bhadre itihāsaḥ purātanaḥ | kathayiṣyāmi te bhadre sāvadhānā śruṇuṣva me || 16 ||
ஓ பத்திரையே, இதற்குரிய ஒரு பழமையான இதிஹாசம் (புனிதக் கதை) கேட்கப்படுகிறது. ஓ பத்திரையே, அதை உனக்குச் சொல்கிறேன்—கவனமாக என் சொல் கேள்।
