Saṃdhyāvalī-ākhyāna
Mohinī-parīkṣā; Dvādaśī-vrata-mahattva
वसिष्ठ उवाच । संध्यावलीवचः श्रुत्वा मोहिनी दुहिता विधेः । उवाच तत्परा स्वीये कार्ये मोहकरंडिका ॥ १ ॥
vasiṣṭha uvāca | saṃdhyāvalīvacaḥ śrutvā mohinī duhitā vidheḥ | uvāca tatparā svīye kārye mohakaraṃḍikā || 1 ||
வசிஷ்டர் கூறினார்: சந்த்யாவலியின் சொற்களை கேட்டபின், விதாதா (பிரம்மா) வின் மகளான மோஹினி—தன் நோக்கில் முழுமையாக ஈடுபட்டு—பேசினாள்; அவள் மயக்கத்தின் பெட்டகமென இருந்தாள்.
