Mohinyāḥ Bhāṣaṇam

அந்த இளம்பெண் தன் மகனிடம் கூறினாள்—“விரைவாக என் கணவரை என்னிடம் கொண்டு வா. அவர் இல்லாமல் நான் ஒரு நொடியும் வாழ இயலாது.”
Narrator (Purāṇic dialogue context; the verse reports the speech of a young woman)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: karuna (compassion)
Secondary Rasa: bhakti (devotion)
It highlights the intensity of attachment and separation (viraha) within a household narrative, a common Purāṇic device used to drive the moral and devotional lesson that follows in the tirtha-mahātmya context.
By portraying an inability to endure separation even for a moment, it mirrors the bhakti ideal of longing—where the devotee similarly yearns for the Lord’s presence with single-minded intensity.
The term "muhūrta" reflects traditional time-reckoning used in Jyotiṣa (a Vedāṅga), indicating a precise unit of time employed in ritual timing and daily observances.
