Virāṭa-parva Adhyāya 42 — Duryodhana’s counsel to Bhīṣma on ajñātavāsa risk and raid strategy

वैयाप्रकोशे निहितो हेमचित्रो दुरासद: । सुफलश्रित्रकोशश्व॒ किड़किणीसायको महान्‌

Transliteration

vaiyāprakōśe nihito hemacitro durāsadaḥ | suphalāśritrakośaś ca kiḍkiṇīsāyako mahān ||

Translation

உத்தரா கூறினாள்— “ஆயுதக் களஞ்சியத்தில் வைக்கப்பட்டுள்ள இந்தப் பொன் அலங்காரமுடைய, அணுக இயலாத மகா ஆயுதம் உள்ளது. இது உறுதியான பலன் தருவதாகப் புகழ்பெற்ற மாபெரும் வில்; அதனுடன் மணியொலி எழும் அம்புகளும் அம்புக்கூடங்களும் உள்ளன.”
