जूएकी आसस्तिने इन्हें राजलक्ष्मीके सिंहासनसे नीचे उतार दिया है और अब ये अपने उन कर्मोंका चिन्तन करते हुए अज्ञकी भाँति चुपचाप बैठे रहते हैं ।। दश नागसहस््राणि हयानां हेममालिनाम् । यं यान्तमनुयान्तीह सो<यं द्यूतेन जीवति
daśa nāgasahasrāṇi hayānāṃ hemamālinām | yaṃ yāntam anuyāntīha so 'yaṃ dyūtena jīvati ||
இங்கே அவன் செல்லும் போது பொன் மாலைகளால் அலங்கரிக்கப்பட்ட குதிரைகளுடன் பத்தாயிரம் யானைகள் பின்தொடர்ந்தன; அத்தகையவன் இப்போது சூதாட்டத்தின் முடிவினால் வாழ்கிறான்.
