Virāṭa-parva Adhyāya 13 — Kīcaka’s Proposition and Draupadī’s Dharmic Refusal
महाकाया महावीर्या: कालखज्जा इवासुरा: । वीर्योन्मत्ता बलोदग्रा राज्ञा समभिपूजिता:
mahākāyā mahāvīryāḥ kālakhajjā ivāsurāḥ | vīryonmattā balodagrā rājñā samabhipūjitāḥ ||
அங்கே வந்த மல்லர்கள் பெருந்தோற்றமும் பேராற்றலும் உடையவர்கள்—காலகஜ்ஜன் எனும் அசுரரைப் போலத் தோன்றினர். தங்கள் வீரத்திலும் வலிமையிலும் மயங்கிப் பெருமிதம் கொண்டவர்களாக, ஆற்றலில் மிகுந்தவர்களாக இருந்தபோதும், விராட மன்னன் அவர்களை முறையாக வரவேற்று மரியாதை செய்தான்.
