अगस्त्यस्य वित्तयाचनं तथा इल्वलोपभिक्षणनिर्णयः

स चाह्दयति यं वाचा गतं वैवस्वतक्षयम् | स पुनर्देहमास्थाय जीवन् सम प्रत्यदृश्यत,इल्वलमें यह शक्ति थी कि वह जिस किसी भी यमलोकमें गये हुए प्राणीको उसका नाम लेकर बुलाता वह पुन: शरीर धारण करके जीवित दिखायी देने लगता था
sa cāhvayati yaṁ vācā gataṁ vaivasvatakṣayam | sa punar deham āsthāya jīvan sampratyadṛśyata |
அவனுக்கு இப்படியொரு ஆற்றல் இருந்தது: வைவர்ஸ்வதன் (யமன்) உலகத்திற்குச் சென்ற எந்த உயிரையும் பெயரை மட்டும் உச்சரித்து அழைத்தால், அது மீண்டும் உடல் ஏற்று உயிருடன் இருப்பதுபோல் தோன்றும்.
