यत्रायजत भूतात्मा पूर्वमेव पितामह: । प्रयागमिति विख्यातं तस्माद्‌ भरतसत्तम

Transliteration

yatrāyajata bhūtātmā pūrvam eva pitāmahaḥ | prayāgam iti vikhyātaṃ tasmād bharatasattama ||

Translation

பரதர்களில் சிறந்தவனே! முன்னொரு காலத்தில் அனைத்திலும் நிறைந்த ஆத்மாவுடைய பிதாமகன் அங்கே யாகம் செய்ததால், அந்த இடம் ‘பிரயாகம்’ என்று புகழ்பெற்றது।
