Prācī-diś Tīrtha-kathana
स्नाति तीर्थेषु कौरव्य न च वक्रमतिर्नर: | त्वया तु सम्यग्वृत्तेन नित्यं धर्मार्थदर्शिना
snāti tīrtheṣu kauravya na ca vakramatir naraḥ | tvayā tu samyagvṛttena nityaṁ dharmārthadarśinā
புலஸ்தியர் கூறினார்—ஓ கௌரவக் குலத்தோனே! மனிதன் தீர்த்தங்களில் நீராடினாலும் அவனுடைய வளைந்த மனம் அதனால் நீங்காது. ஆனால் நீ நேர்மையான நடத்தையுடையவன்; எப்போதும் தர்மமும் அர்த்தமும் எது என்று காண்பவன்; ஆகவே உனக்குச் சுத்தியின் பயன் வெறும் சடங்கால் அல்ல, குணநலத்தால் நிறைவேறுகிறது.
