अग्निष्टोमातिरात्रा भ्यां फलं विन्दति भारत | तीर्थ च सर्वदेवानां स्नात्वा भरतसत्तम
agniṣṭomātirātrābhyāṁ phalaṁ vindati bhārata | tīrthaṁ ca sarvadevānāṁ snātvā bharatasattama ||
ஓ பாரதா, அக்னிஷ்டோமமும் அதிராத்திரமும் ஆகிய இரு சோமயாகங்களுக்குரிய பலனை மனிதன் பெறுவான். ஓ பரதசிறந்தவனே, எல்லாத் தேவர்களுக்கும் உரிய தீர்த்தமாகக் கருதப்படும் இத்தீர்த்தத்தில் நீராடினாலும் அதே புண்ணியம் கிடைக்கும்.
