प्राप्रुयात् स नरो लोकान् ब्रह्मण: सदने$क्षयान् | विशेषतः कार्तिकमासकी पूर्णिमाको जो पुष्करतीर्थमें स्नानके लिये जाता है, वह मनुष्य ब्रह्मधाममें अक्षय लोकोंको प्राप्त होता है
prāpnuyāt sa naro lokān brahmaṇaḥ sadane'kṣayān | viśeṣataḥ kārtikamāsakī pūrṇimāyāṁ yaḥ puṣkaratīrthe snānāya gacchati sa naro brahmadhāmni'kṣayān lokān prāpnoti ||
அவன் பிரம்மாவின் சந்நிதியில் அழியாத உலகங்களை அடைவான். குறிப்பாக கார்த்திக மாதப் பௌர்ணமியில் புஷ்கர தீர்த்தத்தில் நீராடச் செல்பவன், பிரம்மதாமத்தில் நிலைத்த, அழிவிலா உலகங்களைப் பெறுவான்।
