अथ गच्छेत राजेन्द्र देविकां लोकविश्रुताम् । प्रसूतिर्यत्र विप्राणां श्रूयते भरतर्षभ,भरतवंशशिरोमणे! राजेन्द्र! वहाँसे लोकविख्यात देविकातीर्थकी यात्रा करे, जहाँ ब्राह्मणोंकी उत्पत्ति सुनी जाती है
atha gacchet rājendra devikāṃ lokaviśrutām | prasūtir yatra viprāṇāṃ śrūyate bharatarṣabha ||
அதன்பின், ஓ அரசேந்திரா! உலகில் புகழ்பெற்ற ‘தேவிகா’ தீர்த்தத்திற்குச் செல்ல வேண்டும்—ஓ பாரதகுலச் சிறந்தவனே! அங்கே பிராமணர்களின் தோற்றம் பற்றிய செய்தி கேட்கப்படுகிறது.
