स तत्र कुण्डिने रम्ये वसमानो महीपतिः: । न च किंचित् तदापश्यत् प्रेक्षमाणो मुहुर्मुहुः । स तु राज्ञा समागम्य विदर्भपतिना तदा
sa tatra kuṇḍine ramye vasamāno mahīpatiḥ | na ca kiñcit tadāpaśyat prekṣamāṇo muhur muhuḥ || sa tu rājñā samāgamya vidarbhapatinā tadā ||
அழகிய குண்டின நகரில் தங்கி இருந்த அந்த அரசன் மீண்டும் மீண்டும் நோக்கினான்; ஆனால் அப்போது அவனுக்கு எதுவும் காணப்படவில்லை. பின்னர் அவன் விதர்பத்தின் அரசனைச் சந்தித்து அதற்கேற்றவாறு செயல்பட்டான்.
